Our JustMarkets review
Overview
JustMarkets is a forex and CFD broker that third-party profiles date back to 2012. It traded for years under the JustForex name, and some review sites still list it that way. Today it operates through a group of companies:
- a Seychelles-licensed global arm
- a CySEC-authorised European subsidiary
- a South African FSCA-registered provider
- a company licensed in Mauritius
Most international traders encounter the brand through its low-cost Standard Cent and Standard accounts, high leverage, MetaTrader platforms and copy-trading app.
Regulation and safety
JustMarkets assigns clients to a legal entity based on where they live:
- Just Global Markets Ltd (Seychelles) is licensed by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under securities dealer licence SD088. This offshore entity is the one most international clients sign with. It can offer leverage of up to 1:3000, but it has no statutory investor compensation fund.
- JustMarkets Ltd (Cyprus) holds CySEC licence 401/21 and serves eligible EU residents. These clients get ESMA leverage caps of 1:30 for retail traders, negative-balance protection and access to the Investor Compensation Fund of up to EUR 20,000. Third-party sources note that France and Belgium are excluded.
- Just Global Markets (PTY) Ltd (South Africa) is registered with the FSCA as FSP 51114.
- Just Global Markets (MU) Limited (Mauritius) holds FSC licence GB22200881.
One review site also lists a British Virgin Islands company, Just Global Markets (VG) Limited, but we could not confirm a licence number for it.
In the sources reviewed for this article, we found no public licence withdrawal or regulator fine against the JustMarkets group. That does not rule out issues elsewhere, so check the registers yourself.
The global entity does not accept residents of the US, Canada, Australia, Japan or the UK. It also excludes EU and EEA residents, who are directed to the Cypriot company instead.
Fees and costs
JustMarkets offers four live account types that differ mainly in how they charge:
- Standard Cent and Standard have spreads from 0.3 pips and no commission.
- Pro narrows the spread to a minimum of 0.1 pips, still with no commission.
- Raw Spread quotes from 0.0 pips and adds a commission of $3 per side per lot.
These are minimum spreads. The broker does not publish an average EUR/USD figure that we could confirm, so compare live quotes on a demo account. Review sites also mention an inactivity fee of around $5 after a long dormant period.
| Account | Min. deposit | Spread from | Commission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Cent | $10 | 0.3 pips | None |
| Standard | $10 | 0.3 pips | None |
| Pro | $100–$200 (sources differ) | 0.1 pips | None |
| Raw Spread | $100–$200 (sources differ) | 0.0 pips | $3 per side per lot |
Account types and products
The Standard Cent account shows balances in US cents (USC), which makes it useful for learning or for testing automated strategies with very small positions. The Standard, Pro and Raw Spread accounts can be held in a long list of currencies, including:
- Major currencies: USD, EUR, GBP and JPY
- Asian currencies: MYR, IDR, THB, VND and CNY
- Others: ZAR, NGN, KWD and AED
The list suggests the broker focuses on Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Swap-free versions of every account are available to eligible clients on request, though some swap-free setups charge a fixed fee on positions held for extended periods.
The product range covers forex, metals, energies, indices, stock CFDs and crypto CFDs. Some instruments, including stocks, are limited to certain account types. Leverage can reach 1:3000 on forex with the Seychelles entity. Lower limits apply to other assets and depend on account equity.
Platforms and tools
Trading runs on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, on desktop, web and mobile. JustMarkets also has its own trading app for iOS and Android, which combines funding, account management and trading.
A separate copy-trading service lists more than 100 strategy providers. Followers can set capital allocation and risk rules. Free demo accounts are available on both MetaTrader platforms. Expert advisors and custom indicators work as usual on MT4 and MT5, so algorithmic traders can bring existing tools with them.
Deposits and withdrawals
JustMarkets advertises fast, largely automated payments and says it does not charge deposit fees. Available methods depend on the country and include:
- Bank cards and wire transfers
- Skrill, Neteller, SticPay, Perfect Money and FasaPay
- Local payment agents
- Several cryptocurrencies, such as USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, LTC, TRX, DOGE and XRP
Withdrawals normally return to the original deposit method and require a one-time password. The company also says its card processing is PCI DSS certified, and that most requests are handled automatically within minutes, although delays can occur on the payment provider's side. Payment providers may still charge their own fees. Some online user reviews complain about slow withdrawals and bonus disputes, so it is sensible to test the process with a small amount first.
Who it suits
JustMarkets suits small-account traders in Asia, Africa and the Middle East who want local-currency accounts, a cent account and flexible funding methods. Swap-free traders who need Islamic accounts across the whole range are also well served. EU residents can get stronger protection through the CySEC entity. Traders who prioritise top-tier regulation, or who need a large stock universe, should consider better-regulated multi-asset brokers.
Verdict
JustMarkets offers solid MetaTrader-based trading, low entry costs, many account currencies, copy trading and a competitively priced Raw Spread account. The main drawback is that most non-EU clients are served by the Seychelles entity, which offers limited protection and very high leverage. Use the CySEC entity if you are eligible. Otherwise, keep risk modest and confirm which company your agreement is with.
